Message from the Principal

I hope you enjoyed summer and are ready for your children to begin a brand new school year.  As your new principal, I want you to know that I'm looking forward to a great year here at West Street School.

As your child's school principal, I want you to know your child's education and safety remain top priorities here at West Street Elementary School.  I look forward to working collaboratively with you as an educational team to provide a world-class educational program for your child.  The entire West Street staff is dedicated to providing all students with a high quality education so that they can achieve to their fullest potential.  In addition to providing a strong standards based academic program, we are passionate about guiding our students to become caring, respectful, and responsible citizens.  You are an important part of our success.  So please parents, by all means, do get involved with our school; your children need you!!!

Monthly newsletters will be sent home with your child highlighting upcoming events and providing you with relevant information.  This year we will be working closely with the Tehama County Department of Education and the California State Department of Education as we continue to make improvements in our educational program.

The West Street School staff is eager to work with you to help your child succeed.  Please don't hesitate to stop by our office anytime.
